Debates of Annual Report on Execution of the RA State Budget for 2017 in RA NA Standing Committees Continue

At May 30 joint sitting of the RA National Assembly Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan and Gagik Minasyan, the annual report on Execution of the RA State Budget for 2017 was debated, which related to the executive sheets of the revenues and expenditures in the spheres of formation of incomes, tax and customs policy, industry, transport and communication, energy and natural resources, tariff policy, protection of economic competition, cadastre, urban development and water management.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial indices, and the First Deputy of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan, the Deputy Chairman of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Mikayel Soghomonyan, the Deputy Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) Pavel Ghaltakhchyan, The Chairman of the State Committee for Water Management adjunct to the RA Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Arsen Harutyunyan and other responsible officials of the sphere referred to the implemented programmes and the recorded executive sheets.

In the Q & A session those responsible for the sphere also touched upon the MPs' concerns which related to the inner and external factors promoting the boosting of the economic growth, the elimination of the monopolies, the expediency of the use of the turnover tax towards the public food shops, the steps being taken for the rise of the pensions and salaries, the possibilities of the reduction of the electric power and gas tariff, etc.

On May 31, the debates of the annual report on Execution of the RA State Budget for 2017 in the National Assembly Standing Committees will continue.
